Tool Of The Day
Google Photos can now rescue your rough video clips
Google added Video Remix to the Create tab in Google Photos, and it is aimed squarely at the footage most of us actually have: dim, shaky, unremarkable phone clips. Powered by Google's Gemini Omni model, it turns a raw clip into a stylized one in a few taps. You can relight a video shot in bad lighting, swap a background, or push it into a look like watercolor, sketchbook, or oil painting.
The appeal is speed and low effort. You are not opening a timeline editor or learning transitions. You pick a template, and it does the heavy lifting, which is perfect for a quick social post or a story. That is also the ceiling. It is template-driven rather than fully controllable, so it will brighten and restyle a clip, but it will not replace a real editor when you need precise cuts and pacing.
Two practical notes. It needs a paid Google AI plan (Plus, Pro, or Ultra), and it is limited to adults. The rollout started this week across a wide set of countries, including the US, India, Bangladesh, Brazil, Japan, and more.

Productivity Upgrade
Build a working tool inside your notes, without code
Notion's 3.6 update added something quietly powerful: an HTML block that lets you build interactive tools right on a page. You describe what you want in plain language, and a Notion Agent builds it. An ROI calculator, a quiz, a scorecard, a simple org chart, all rendered live where your notes already live.
Here is the exact move. On any Notion page, type /html or just ask your Notion Agent for what you need, for example, build an ROI calculator for my pricing. The Agent writes the code and renders the widget in place. Share the page and teammates can use it. You can also paste your own HTML if you already have some.
One honest limit: these widgets do not automatically write back into your Notion databases, so if you need real lead capture or saved responses, you still need a connected form or automation behind them. Heavy agent use also draws on Notion's credit system, which can add cost on business plans.

Your Instagram captions are now search copy
As of today, public content from professional Instagram accounts belonging to adults can surface in Google and Bing results. Reels, carousels, and posts can now work like evergreen, searchable assets instead of disappearing down the feed within a day. For creators and marketers, that reframes the caption. It is no longer just a vibe. It is discoverable text.
The practical shift is to write captions the way you would write for search. Be specific and keyword-aware. A caption like a 10-day Thailand itinerary for solo travelers will earn more discovery than something vague and moody. Readable, searchable on-screen text helps too.
Worth flagging in the same week: Meta launched its own image model, Muse Image, free inside Meta AI, Instagram Stories, and WhatsApp. It arrived with immediate privacy pushback, because one feature lets users pull public Instagram photos into AI creations by mentioning an account, and it is opt-out by default. If you post publicly, it is worth checking your settings.
